Origami Disney Princesses by AmadeuxWay Origami Disney Princesses by AmadeuxWay
What amazes me about the Disney Princess is their character design by the Disney animators. Each princess has their unique style, color, outfit design and personality that will differentiate them from one another, allowing us to identify who is who with a quick glance. This is Disney artwork at it's best and I am proud to be able to finally complete my digital artwork of the Disney inspired Princess Series.

* Mulan has a different pose because it looks more elegant with the sword pointed down than instead of pointing upwards. I didn't want to make her look like she was going into battle. =)

What I love about Disney is that when they do other nationalities, they do it very well, and don't even use the usual steroptypes, but you see them really get into the culture, and it shows with each character. ^^

I absolutely love this style of the princesses! I love that you gave Tiana the glass of wine as her 'accessory' and Pocahontas the paddle. I've never seen anyone using these items as their 'personal object'! That's really original ;)
You should make a picture like this with Merida, Anna and Elsa added. I'd love that!

Very nice, you portrayed all of them perfectly. I like the shading style used and how you remained high consistent with it and how you paid attention to details such as character height. Though to be honest, I don't understand why only Mulan got a different pose. Nonetheless, this serves as a great comparison guide. I like how Rapunzel is easily the most "strange" because of her ridiculously long magical hair. Good background as well, it's simple and non intrusive.
Which one of them would you consider your favorite? And which one was the most interesting to draw?

@lamentofangels, first of all, I would like to thank you for your compliment. For me, it's hard to choose a favorite as each one of them have their own unique style and personality that I absolutely love. Am I greedy to say I favor them all? :D

Mulan has a different pose because it looks more elegant with the sword pointed down than instead of pointing upwards. I didn't want to make her look like she was going into battle.

Please, it was my pleasure. And no, I don't think it's wrong of you or anything to favor them all, I find it interesting.
And I understand the pose now. Indeed she would look ready to chop some heads off if her sword was up.
Once again, excellent work, keep it up
